Edmund D. Kellogg is the portfolio manager for the GRT Concentric strategy. Mr. Kellogg has been involved with investment management and research since 1980. He formed Concentric Investment Management, LLC and started the Concentric Partner's Fund in 2004. His firm joined forces with GRT Capital Partners in 2009.
Prior to co-founding Concentric, Mr. Kellogg was the sole portfolio manager of Boston Partners' Long / Short Equity Fund from August 1997 - March 2004. The performance record of this fund is available on various hedge fund databases. In addition, the mutual fund (BPLSX) based on the same disciplines was the #1 ranked Specialty Diversified Fund in Lipper Universe for the 5 year period ending December 31, 2003. Prior to managing Boston Partners' Long/Short Equity Fund Mr. Kellogg was Director of Quantitative Research, Boston Partners April 1996 - August 1997. Before joining Boston Partners he was a Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Keystone Investment Management from 1987 - 1996 and a Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Tucker Anthony Investment Management from 1980 - 1987.
Mr. Kellogg is the Past Chair of the Board of Regents of the Financial Analyst Seminar at Northwestern University and Governor of the Association for Investment Management & Research (now the CFA Institute.) Mr. Kellogg is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a BA in Economics. He is a member of CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
