Mark S. Rzepczynski, Ph.D. is the portfolio manager for the ETF Global Tactical Asset Allocation Long/Short strategy. Mr. Rzepczynski has been involved with investment management and research since 1979.
Since 2007, he has also been the managing member of Lakewood Partners LLC, a firm which focuses on disciplined and systematic investing in foreign exchange, interest rates, and commodities through the application of structured decisions. From 2010 to 2014, Mr. Rzepczynski was also Chief Executive Officer of Funds Group at Four Winds Capital Management, a registered commodity pool operator. From 1998 to 2007, Mark was President and Chief Investment Officer for John W. Henry & Co., a Commodity Trading Advisor. Mark also served as the taxable bond quantitative and credit research director for Fidelity Management and Research from 1995-1998.
Along with being an economist at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Mark was a finance professor at the University of Houston Bauer College of Business (1983-1987) and has served on the board of the Futures Industry Association (2001-2007). He is currently on the Advisory Board of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association and is an associate editor of the Journal of Alternative Investments. Mr. Rzepczynski holds a B.A., cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago, and a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University.
