Gregory B. Fraser is a managing member of GRT Capital Partners, LLC and a portfolio manager for the long/short and sector strategies within the firm. Mr. Fraser has been involved with investment research and management since 1986.
From 1991 to 2001, he was the portfolio manager of the Fidelity Diversified International Fund which increased in size from approximately $1 million to over $6 billion at the time of his departure. His fund finished every year in the category's top half, including five top-quintile finishes.
Prior to becoming a portfolio manager at Fidelity, Mr. Fraser was an analyst at Fidelity Investments from 1986 to 1991, where he followed a variety of industries, including textiles and apparel manufacturers, shoe manufacturers, aerospace and defense companies, steel manufacturers, hotel and gaming companies, conglomerates, and environmental service companies.
Mr. Fraser is a CFA charterholder. He holds an AB in economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard College ('82) where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and an MBA, with Distinction, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania ('86).
